Genie ThoughtaliniSeptember 2022 What if we understood time, movement, progress in terms of cycles or phases instead of a linear path forward ▶▶ or regression backward ◀◀◀ ? In ancient times, and to this day in certain communities, reality is understood in terms of both regular and irregular cyclical phases. It was the patriarchal Proto-Indo-Europeans who came in, with their *Sky Father*, and decided that time and progress was a straight line forward toward one “collective” goal. But what if different beings need different goals? What if our bodies, minds, environments differ and therefore our needs and desires would differ as well? (a truism?) Even from day to day? When I am young my body and mind need different things from when I am old, I have different cells and bone structure. My experiences build upon one another and change my cognition across space and time. When I live in the jungle as opposed to a mountain I have different resources and experiential based requirements. When I have the body of a bird or the body of a beast, I experience the same forest differently. Can we de-institutionalize ourselves from this linear world and embrace our own internal cycles in harmony with the external cycles of our companions in a shared universe? What would that world look like? What would we feel if we were flowing endlessly around and around instead of charging forward?

Community UpdateLately we have been doing some good themes! It has been fun! Yay! If you have a theme you feel passionate about, let me know! Some upcoming themes will likely be SPORTS and ANIMALS, maybe THE COLOR RED or SCIENCE. Literally anything can be a theme and it is pretty fun to put content together and see what yall bring forward within that space. As always, I want to express my appreciation for all of you because without ya well who the heck am I talking to? For everyone that comes in and participates in the community activities, whether it’s requesting games, watching movies in the discord, helping me with tech issues, checking in on me when I’m late to stream, giving me constructive feedback, telling me that my mic is muted for the 100th time, sharing your life and thoughts in the discord, spending your monies to support me… the list could go on forever! Without all your energy there is no energy here and it is a space void of anything. Some of you may have extra energy that you can contribute, and some of you may have very little energy—but every drop of energy makes up the flow of the machine that is this community and I cherish each drop and slurp it up like an energy guzzling MONSTER. Thank you for fueling this Geneva monster, I love you all.
