Genie ThoughtaliniMay 2022 This past month has been a time of unrelenting waves for me, and I know most of you have been surfing along a few of your own. No matter how many times my life ebbs and flows, I can’t seem to get used to its unpredictable swells. Perhaps this is the true purpose in life—to find knowing within the constant unknown. Despite urges to hunt down a finite and clear path, the moments when I’m most uncomfortable have generally lead to intense experiences of strength and gratitude that ultimately I wouldn’t trade for clarity. A goal that has grown stronger the more I am challenged is to experience as many moments in my life to their fullest, including the pain, frustration and confusion. I remember hearing a sage once say that everything that happens in this life was something that your soul needed to learn. May your waves, as they teach your soul all that it may need, carry you somewhere wonderful.

Community UpdateIt’s time for a short hiatus! They say that breaks are good! That they are healthy! Why then do I feel that taking more than a few days off is some form of punishment? You are all a part of my daily existence—I live and breathe alongside and even in some ways because of you. When you’re gone, I miss you. When I’m gone, I miss you. When you are sick or in pain, I ask the universe for healing. When I am sick, you all come together and fill me with light. What a wonderful thing! There is something magical about existing in a network of so many inspiring, intelligent and compassionate beings. Meeting and connecting with you has proven to me that there is something mystical in this universe that I may never understand. Thank you for spinning, spinning, spinning on this little rock with me. I won’t be gone for long 💜
